Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole (2010) is a fantasy-animation and kids film from the studio that brought the “Happy Feet” and directed by Zack Snyder. The film based on the book series by Kathryn Lasky titled Guardians of Ga’Hoole. Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole will be shown on September 2010 wide in theaters in 3D. The film executive producers are Bruce Berman, Donald De Line, Kathryn Lasky, Deborah Snyder, Lionel Wigram and Christopher DeFaria with producer Zareh Nalbandian.

Yogi was one of several Hanna-Barbera characters to have a collar, which allowed the body to be kept static and to redraw just the head in each frame when he was speaking, thus reducing the number of drawings needed for a seven-minute cartoon from 14,000 to around 2,000.

In October 2008, it was announced that Warner Bros. will film a live-action/animated film similar to Fox and Bagdasarian's Alvin & the Chipmunks. It will star Dan Aykroyd as the voice of Yogi Bear and Justin Timberlake as the voice of Boo Boo Bear. The movie's release date is December 17, 2010.


Synopsis: When a corrupt mayor turns failing Jellystone Park into a logging facility, Yogi and Boo Boo team with Ranger Smith and a wildlife documentarian to expose the mayor’s plot to destroy a near extinct turtle whose presence in the park should trigger its reclassification as a nature preserve.
